you receive from Yahoo and Hotmail contain a few lines at the bottom of
the email?
Those lines are called "signature
files" or "sigs" and both Yahoo and Hotmail use them to
promote their own services. When used appropriately, "sigs" can
be a really good customer builder.
An additional advantage of using sigs
to promote a product is that any of your email that gets forwarded,
will also contain your sig! No matter how many times it's forwarded.
Since most email programs allow users
